Ruger officially announced another caliber for their very popular Precision Rifle line. The newest kid on the block will boast the intermediate 5.56mm NATO cartridge. Ruger already produces their rifle in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor and the new hot caliber, the 6mm Creedmoor (that’s not a typo).
Ruger seems to be working overtime this week, as they’ve released two new products within a few days. The first is the Mark IV, the modern and newest in the Mark series of rimfire handguns. Ruger then announced the new Compact models of the Ruger American 9mm in both Manual and Pro configurations.
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. (NYSE: RGR) has recently introduced two new rimfire products: a new Ruger GP100 is chambered in .22 LR, and the Ruger 10/22 Takedown line now includes a model with a target barrel.
