Our friend Patrick Kelly recently announced that he has officially joined Team Savage and lent his professional recommendations on the fine-tuning of Savage’s new MSR line of rifles. Patrick took one of the MSR-15 rifles, the .223 Remington Recon model, out to the range to see how it shoots. You can watch his first impressions here:
Despite the frigid temperatures (that we Texans wouldn’t dare brave), Patrick grabbed his new MSR-15 Recon and set out to sight in with his new Burris XTR-II glass. Just bore-sighting got the rifle pretty close, being off a couple inches up and to the right from his point of aim. A couple clicks of adjustment and he’ll be dead on. The grouping of those five first shots was pretty tight, so we can’t wait to see how it performs once Patrick’s got it sighted in!
