Our friend Patrick E. Kelley is back with another Out of the Box and to the Match Review. In this review series, Patrick takes a brand new gun, gives it a quick clean and oil, and then shoots a match with it. No tweaking, no aftermarket parts, just a stock firearm that anyone can buy. This week, he’s showing off a new Nordic Components Pistol Caliber Carbine. These handy little guns have a patented lower receiver that is designed specifically for 9mm ammunition. Even better, the magwell is interchangeable so you can use multiple types of 9mm magazines. And, like all Nordic Components products, the PCC is precision engineered and use high quality parts for a superb finished product. But enough from me, watch Pat take the Nordic Components PCC out to the range and see how it runs:
Man-o-man PCC’s are really fun and this beautifully crafted unit from Nordic Components is wicked cool fun!!! Fast Handling, Accurate and Reliable what is not to love? —Patrick E. Kelley
As you can see, Patrick had a blast shooting the Nordic Components Pistol Caliber Carbine. The mil-spec trigger slowed him down, but that’s the point of this review series: show the performance of the firearm with stock equipment before making aftermarket upgrades, like a lighter trigger. The accuracy was pretty spot on as well, and it especially liked the heavier 147gr 9mm loads.
Hopefully Nordic Components wasn’t wanting their PCC back, because it looks like Patrick isn’t letting go of this one.
