Defend Your Legacy with Springfield Armory

Springfield Armory launched a new initiative on September 21st. Titled “Defend Your Legacy,” this new initiative is aimed at telling the stories of those who wake up every day, determined to protect their own and that for which they have worked so hard. To develop this new direction, Springfield has launched a new site, that features stories from a wide range of shooters.

On the Defend Your Legacy website, Springfield explains this venture with a new mindset:

The moment you realize you have something to lose, you have a choice. Train to defend it. Or let someone else define its fate.
Which will you choose?
A legacy is defined by choices. And only limited by the ability to defend it.
It is your right to do everything you can to protect what you have.

With the new Defend Your Legacy site and hashtag (#DefendYourLegacy), Springfield hopes to open up a dialogue about the importance of defending one’s legacy and encourage others to share ideas on what legacy means to them. All of this seems to be leading up to a the release of a new Springfield Armory product. Named the SAINT, this new product is expected to be introduced on November 1st of this year. The website even features a countdown until the release of the SAINT. So far, little is known about what the SAINT will be, other than this new product will be unlike any other from Springfield Armory.

Across the internet, rumors are floating around that the SAINT may be Springfield Armory’s response to the Sig Sauer P226 Legion or the modular P320 while others believe this maybe Springfield’s first foray into the AR market. Some have also mused that the SAINT may not be a new firearm, but rather could be training center or a rival to Glock I.D. program. You can read more about the Defender Your Legacy program and the upcoming SAINT on Springfield Armory’s site or blog.

  1. I’m hoping Saint is a thin pistol tailored for women similar to the Ruger LC9S for handbags or pockets. We like Springfield’s products, wife and friends are looking at the add and keeping their fingers crossed.

  2. I suspect it will be a new line of pistols. Possibly with the mounts already on them for red dot sights.
No matter what, I am intrigued. Looking forward to Nov 1.

  3. I owe an apology to whoever put the poster in our pubic library of “If HIllary wins she won’t forget her campaign promises.” It seemed like it was pro-Hillary and I ripped it down. Then, when I got home, read the back and looked you up I MADE THE MISTAKE. If you could please send me a replacement, I’ll put it back up on the library bulletin board. I am so sorry! Very pro-gun, anti-Hillary.
